SeaRenergy Poland provides the conceptual design, construction permit design documentation, and obtains the necessary permits for the Offshore Substation (OSS) of the BC-Wind offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic Sea. This scope includes the development of the OSS topside concept design, including the electrical design, which forms the foundation for the construction permit.
As part of this comprehensive service, SeaRenergy prepares all required documentation to secure the Construction Permit, culminating in the final approval by the relevant authorities. The project, which began in August 2023, involves experienced partners and emphasizes incorporating local content to support the growth of Poland’s offshore wind industry.
The BC-Wind project, developed by Ocean Winds — aims to generate 500 MW of power from a maximum of 34 wind turbines located approximately 37 kilometers from the port of Władysławowo. The wind farm is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2027, with SeaRenergy playing a pivotal role in advancing the project towards obtaining the necessary building permits.
